Its been a huge weekend trying to get Izzy ready for our big trip. After a couple of weeks messing around with tape measures and drawing scale models I have finally got the saw out and made the false floor for inside Izzy's canopy. The false floor allows me to tie things down without turning the tray into a colander. Using I nuts (nothing to do with Ipods) everything will be secured down using straps or bungee ropes, but figuring out how and where to put them wasn't easy. 4 hours later and I have the floor done and a shelf installed and am pretty happy with the way it is going. Sunday started early and a new set of mud guards are ready to be bolted on before we leave.
Only the crane for the boat motor and a holder for the arms for the boat loader to go as major projects and then the lighting project for Izzy will get underway. Hopefully we can knock it over this weekend to get a clear run into the last month before we go.
